Environmental Science

This applied science course examines the critical environmental issues facing the 21st Century, including pollution problems, overpopulation, depletion of natural resources, and global biodiversity decline.  The focus of this class is one developing scientifically-based solutions to these problems.  In-class work requirements include homework from various environmental sources, quizzes on class discussions, and reports on ecological problems.  Additionally, significant time is spent conducting lab investigations inside and outside the classroom on field trips and projects related to environmental issues.
