I started working in the SVVSD 15 years ago and at Lyons Middle Senior for the past four years. I love that all students at Lyons Middle Senior have an opportunity to form strong connections with classmates and staff. The school climate here feels very supportive! The best part of being a school psychologist at the middle and high school level is working directly with students to help them understand their own strengths as well as the power of self-advocacy. I enjoy the critical thinking process and the collaboration with teachers and parents that is necessary to arrive at creative solutions to challenges a student may be experiencing.
