I grew up in Longmont, Colorado, where I developed a love for running, the outdoors, and adventure. Whether it was exploring local trails, competing in sports, or spending time in the mountains, I was always happiest outside and challenging myself in new ways.

That passion for running led me to Northern Arizona University, where I competed as a NCAA Division I cross-country and track athlete. After college, I spent three years working as an environmental engineer while also competing as a professional triathlete. Balancing a full-time career with elite athletics taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and pursuing goals that are bigger than yourself.

Today, I still love spending my free time on the trails, in the mountains, traveling, baking, and seeking out new adventures. I am so excited to join the Lyons community and can't wait to start my first year of teaching!
