I grew up in Colorado and was introduced to SVVSD in 2008. Since then, I have stepped into many roles with the district, including a Substitute Teacher, Preschool Para, 2nd Grade Teacher, and parent. My most recent years have been busy caring for my young children and becoming an active member as a Parent Volunteer at our home school. I have brought the Scholastic Book Fairs to my children’s school for 6 years now! I love the excitement that a new book can bring to students. I have a passion for children/teen literature and enjoy finding fun, silly, or thoughtful books for myself and others!

When I am not in school, I delight in traveling with my family, including to different countries! I enjoy learning new languages, caring for houseplants, and sharing a good meal with others! I have found libraries to be magical places that bring communities together to help people learn, grow, connect, and feel welcomed. I strive to make an enjoyable and welcoming center for our community here at LMSHS.
