Public school education has been my work realm for 24 years. I have seen many changes, especially in technology. However, I find that students still enjoy the same things as they always have in school life: building relationships with their peers, school spirit, the stimulation of learning as they go up in grades. My job comes in with supporting them in their learning and study skills.

Supporting youth to become successful in school with good learning skills and habits that will carry them through life is essential for becoming a confident citizen of the world. This is deeply gratifying work for me.

My other passions are my two grandchildren who live and go to school in South Boulder, hiking in the nearby mountains, discovering where some of the biggest and oldest trees are, and being involved in the Lyons community. This is a great little town with amazing schools!
