Zachariah Smith is a Colorado-based music educator, conductor, vocalist, and pianist originally from Thornton. He recently earned master’s degrees in Choral Conducting & Voice and Music Education from the University of Colorado Boulder. Before beginning his graduate studies, he spent three years as the choir director at Rocky Heights Middle School in Highlands Ranch. He has also performed with professional and semi-professional ensembles throughout the Denver metro area, including Central City Opera and has been able to sing under the direction of Christopher Tin, Eric Whitacre, and Ola Gjeilo. Zachariah is excited to join the Lyons community!
